Dr. Eddy Buhr grew up in Iowa, but as the saying goes 'Got to Texas as fast as he could'. He brings with him over 25 years of chiropractic experience working on thousands of patients. He is known for his gentle touch and his thorough evaluation and care. Along with chiropractic adjustments,
Dr. Buhr utilizes many therapeutic modalities and is a big proponent of nutritional supplements. His greatest desire for his patients is to see them recover, so they can live life and live it more abundantly.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Med Psychology at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. The education he received there focused on the whole person: spirit, mind and body and that all healing comes from above, even if it comes through the hand of a physician. During his time there he served as student manager/ trainer for the men’s NCAA division I basketball team. His love for sports and assisting athletes has continued. Dr. Buhr moved to Dallas so he could attend Parker College of Chiropractic and graduated in 1994 as Salutatorian of his class with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. He became certified in Acupuncture therapy in 2009.
Prior to coming to Waxahachie Chiropractic, he worked as an associate doctor at a busy north Dallas practice and in June of 1997 purchased his own clinic in a small town in east Texas. He maintained his private practice there for 20 years. He sold his practice in 2018 and worked at the Goninio Wellness Center in Rockwall, Texas until March of 2020.
Dr. Buhr lives with his wife and 3 daughters on an acreage in Poetry, Texas. In his off time, he can be found working on the land or spending many hours at his daughter's school and sporting events. He enjoys being an active member of his church and being involved in the community.
Dr. Brenda Ross is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Waxahachie community. Dr. Ross has been helping families in the DFW Metroplex for over 25 years. She enjoys educating others on how they can regain quality back into their lives.
Dr. Brenda Ross has been freeing people from pain in the Red Oak clinic and now in Waxahachie, TX. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Ross is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of patients. Dr. Ross has been known to reach out into the community and speak on health, wellness and safety topics to companies, schools, church groups, and social civic groups. Dr. Ross received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University. While attending Parker she was her class President as well as the President for the Neurology club. After graduation she wanted to give back to her Alma Mater and became a life time member and then President of the Parker Alumni Association.
The techniques Dr. Ross utilizes include: Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, Sacro- Occipital (S.O.T.) and Upper Cervical. The clinic also performs active and passive physical therapies along with therapeutic exercises. Her love of chiropractic and genuine concern for others drive her pursuit of excellence in her work as well as her service to the community.
